Payment Terms
1. Auctions are conducted and payable in CAD or USD Funds. Currency will be posted on all sale advertising.
2. 13% HST applies to all purchases.​
3. An 18% buyers premium is added to all purchases.

​4. A pre-authorized credit card deposit of $1000 is required to participate in any auction and will be held for the duration of the auction. A deposit is required so the Auctioneer can rest assured the buyer will honour their auction purchase. Failure to honour your purchase will result in your deposit not being returned.

​5. Each successful online bidder will receive an invoice via email within 24 hours of the sale concluding. It is your responsibility to ensure you receive this email, please be sure to check your spam/junk folders.

6. Accepted payment methods are credit card (under $2,000), wire transfer, e-transfer (admin@btdindustries.ca) or EFT.
7. You must contact our office directly to arrange for any cash or certified cheque/bank draft payments (all certified cheques and bank drafts will need to be presented with a government issued photo ID that BTD Industries Inc. Auction Group will retain a copy of). On site payment is not available.

8. 2% will be added on all credit card payments over $2000. Please note the 2% will be charged on the full invoiced amount not only that which is over $2000.

9. Payment is due no more than 48 hours after auction is over Buyers who do not pay in full within the required deadline will lose their deposit and their items will be deemed abandoned and disposed of or resold with no recourse.​

10. If your business is outside of Canada, you are still required to pay HST at time of purchase. The buyer will be reimbursed by the government once they have provided all required paperwork and their goods have cleared the border, BTD Industries Inc. Auction Group is not responsible for the remittance of any paperwork or customs negotiations. This responsibility falls solely on the buyer.
